Non-ticketed fans will not be allowed to enter the World Cup stadium precincts, officials have announced.

“To ensure a smooth entry to the stadium for ticketed fans, all un-ticketed fans will not be allowed to enter stadium precincts or PSAs,” the tournament’s Safety & Security Operations Committee announced on Twitter.

“Any tickets that are scanned will be registered and cannot be reused to gain access to the stadium,” the committee added.

The committee encouraged fans wishing to attend the matches to abide by procedures in place and cooperate with teams on ground to ensure a safe environment for all spectators.

The Morocco-France clash is set to take place tonight, at 11pm local UAE time, at the Al Bayt stadium.
