The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced Eid Al Fitr holidays for all employees in the private sector from the 29th Ramadan until 3rd Shawwal across the UAE.

Earlier today, UAE has announced Eid Al Fitr holidays for the federal government employees which will begin on Thursday, April 20.

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources said that the holidays for public sector employees will begin on 29th Ramadan until 3rd Shawwal.

Depending on the sighting of the moon, public sector workers are anticipated to receive a break of either four or five days.

Meanwhile, the International Astronomical Centre predicts that in most Islamic countries, the first day of Eid Al Fitr will be celebrated on Friday, April 21.
