UAE-based Everdome, a hyper-realistic metaverse platform, is geared up for its inaugural extraterrestrial endeavour later today.

The company is targetting its first rocket launch on Wednesday, November 30, at 5pm GST, and will be broadcasted live.

With its launch site set in a replicated metaverse version of the UAE’s Hatta Mountains, Everdome promises to take players on a journey from Earth to futuristic civilisation on Mars. Along with its 500,000-community members, the spacecraft will also carry its partners, such as OKX, Pierre Gasly and Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN, a statement said.

Leszek Orzechowski, the company’s head of Science, will be joining Everdome for the launch. Orzechowski was the space architect providing much of the scientific consulting on the Everdome Phoenix rocket, and whose LunAres Research Station provides space and infrastructure for research on the impact of long-term extra-terrestrial human presence.

The Everdome Cycler is a 3km long interplanetary vessel which will transport Evernauts to their settlement on Mars. Evernauts will leave Earth from the near-future spaceport in the Hatta Mountains. Their interplanetary mission will begin aboard the spaceship Everdome Phoenix (EVR Phoenix), which will dock with the immense Everdome Cycler in Earth’s lower orbit.

The settlement on Mars will be located in the Jezero Crater, which NASA selected for its contemporary space missions. Once Evernauts arrive in the city, they will enjoy multiple storylines and experiences, leading them on exciting adventures, providing entertainment, learning and trading opportunities within the hyper-realistic metaverse space, a statement said.

The city on Mars is split into six distinct districts, divided into plots of land. Each district offers potential for related brands, businesses, personalities and individuals to engage with their existing and new audiences by providing them with immersive experiences.

“This is going to be a fantastic moment in Everdome’s history, marking the first-ever launch of Evernauts headed to Mars,” said Rob Gryn, CEO and founder of Everdome.

“We’ve taken extensive measures to ensure that every aspect of our metaverse delivers an impeccable experience, from the overall ambience of our world right down to the minutiae that make it a truly immersive, beautiful experience.”
