Here’s a list of eight participating country pavilions and their offerings

Expo 2020 Dubai is the very first world expo where every participating country has its own pavilion.

Each of the 192 country pavilions – spread across the three main districts of sustainability, mobility and opportunity – will have the chance to showcase their innovations and strategies.

Here’s a glimpse at another eight of the 192 pavilions at this year’s event.

Morocco: 
Architect: Tarik Oualalou | Location: Opportunity District 

The pavilion offers visitors the opportunity to discover the country and its history, identity and vision for the future. The Moroccan pavilion’s design is inspired by ancestral methods of using earth which is typical of traditional villages. Guests can learn about the country’s commitment to sustainability.

Romania: 
Architect: Cumulus Architecture  | Location: Sustainability District 

The Romanian pavilion’s three main themes include indigenous waters, the natural landscape and virtual eco tours.

The installation ‘Connected Minds – Connected Clouds’ symbolises local cultural and heritage. Visitors can enjoy cultural projects with a focus on nature and heritage or taste a selection of mineral waters from Romania’s springs at the Water bar ‘H2RO’

Korea: 
Architect: Mooyuki Architects  | Location: Mobility District 

The ‘Smart Korea, Moving the World to You’ theme reflects the country’s will to lead the future to a better path.

Offering an amalgamation of reality and future technologies on a mobile-guided AR tour through its four ramps, the pavilion also hosts Korean cultural performances and K-pop dance covers by performers every hour in the madang.

Ghana
Architect: Thematic District Pavilion  | Location: Opportunity District 

The pavilion offers customers an opportunity to experience the trading floor of a stock exchange with a distinctly Ghanian look and feel.

Guests can enjoy movable comic strips featuring the story of Anansi, the famous trickster-spider. Meanwhile, they can also play a trivia game, testing their knowledge about the country.

Croatia
Architect: Ante Vrban  | Location: Mobility District 

The Croatian pavilion will offer guests an opportunity to be inspired by some of the greatest minds from the country and see how some of them have influenced today’s world: from natural beauty and resources to arts and culture.

Visitors can also experience indigenous landscape and traditions as well as learn about the country’s history, nature and science.

Iraq: 
Architect: RAW-NYC Architects  | Location: Opportunity District 

The Iraqi pavilion allows visitors the opportunity to experience Iraqi culture, arts, science, literature and folklore, as the nation celebrates its past while striving to create a brighter tomorrow.

Venezuela
Architect: Wanders Werner Falasi | Location: Jubilee

Taste traditional Venezuelan dishes, drinks, coffee and chocolate at the pavilion. Visitors can also take a selfie with the imposing Angel Falls as a backdrop.

The pavilion also offers an immersive Orinoco 360º experience.

Botswana 
Architect: Thematic District Pavilion | Location: Mobility District

At the Bostwana pavilion, visitors can not only view the country’s prestigious diamonds but also craft their own pieces using augmented reality (AR).

Meanwhile, guests can also journey into the wild with the pavilions’ immersive VR and 4D experiences.
